He is renowned professional in field of Power Generation, Transmissions and Distribution. He has recently retired as the Director Operations from MSEDCL which is the largest Discom in India with a capacity of 15000 MW.
In this role, he was also involved with close interactions and coordination with Energy Department of Maharashtra and MERC. His expertise includes setting up and running power plants, establishing generation training centers, energy management, managing load dispatch and regulatory affairs.
He now runs a CEA certified Energy Training Institute Synergem with course offerings such as in Thermal Power Plant Training Engineering.During the course of his career, he has served in various leadership roles with most recent being Chief Engineer Khaparkheda, Director of Training Koradi and Chief Engineer – Load dispatch at Kalwa.
He received a Gold medal from CEA for Best Management of Khaparkheda Power Plant; established Koradi Generation Training Center and received CEA recognition for the same.He is Certified Energy Auditor from the First Batch and has played an important role in promoting wind, solar and other non-conventional generation technologies.
He is well versed with the Western Region Power System & has submitted various papers related to Power Management, Electricity Act 2003 etc.
