Vibhushan is a marketeer with a keen interest in application of fundamental marketing principles to real life business problems using the new age media channels. An entrepreneur at his core, he enjoys exploring the trends in consumer behaviour and formulating practical and viable business opportunities from these observations. Based on this trait, Vibhushan has undertaken several consulting assignments in areas of strategy for consumer internet ventures, product management for technology products and online marketing.
Vibhushan has 6+ years of experience in techno-managerial roles. He was Product Manager for Yahoo! Search at Yahoo! India, Bangalore. He has co-founded two ventures – one developing software products for optimizing the Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) through quantiative analytics methods and other being creating a destination online portal for popular fashion in the country and social media applications for online customer-engagement and product promotion in lifestyle domain.
He has also been associated with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) India where he designed a blue-print for developing a custom ERP solution for Indian BPO industry. In his stint as software engineer with companies like Cognizant Tech Solutions and Amdocs India, he has worked on legacy systems for telecom billing applications for majors like AT&T and Cingular.
Vibhushan is management graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad (IIM A) with Strategy and Marketing as focus areas. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from VNIT, Nagpur (formerly REC, Nagpur).
